Now you can sign off those plans on the Web
The creator of the Trapeze™ suite of
imaging software products, Onstream Systems Ltd, has made a revolutionary breakthrough which will allow users to sign off plans, or annotate documents, with their own handwriting, across the World Wide Web.
The new development, will mean that users will be able to approve, suggest modifications or actions, on electronic documents delivered across the web via Trapeze™ Desktop and Trapeze™ Webstreamer) as though they were working with the original paper.
Onstream’s principal, David Kelly, said that he believed the development was one of the most significant advances his organisation had made for its revolutionary document retrieval and web imaging system, that is currently providing the benchmark in document retrieval and storage in the United Kingdom.
The new software is based around the use of an inexpensive writing tablet, with the annotation able to be stored either with the document or in a separate file.
The software also allows document time and date stamping.
"It removes all security concerns for documents passing backwards and forwards across the net," Mr Kelly said, noting that signatures could be held and matched on file.
